Cranston Ocean State Job Lot Shoplifting Suspects Identified

CRANSTON, RI — Police have identified the two suspects who are accused of shoplifting at Ocean State Job Lot on July 26. Both are wanted by Cranston Police.

The suspects have been identified as Marcus Diggs, 52 and Jaleah Pompey, 31. Both suspects are from Providence. Cranston Police said the Warwick Police Department provided the tip that led to identifying the suspects.

According to police. the loss prevention team said they saw a man and woman, later identified as Diggs and Pompey, leave the store with a full shopping cart with paying.

"They were then confronted in the parking lot and asked for a receipt for the merchandise, after which the two suspects let the shopping cart with all the merchandise and fled the scene on foot," Cranston Police said.

The man was wearing a floral shirt and cargo shorts while the woman was wearing yoga pants and a black shirt with a checkered pattern
