CRANSTON, RI — The Cranston Police Department is looking to hire new officers to its force.

The department is now seeking applications from qualified candidates. Applications must be submitted by Sept. 13. All applications must be submitted online here.

Qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 upon hiring and have a high school diploma or GED.

Appointment to the department is subject to a satisfactory background investigation, medical exam, psychological exam and drug screening.
