Cranston Police Search For TD Bank Robbery Suspect
Cranston police are asking for anyone with information to contact them immediately.
CRANSTON, RI — Police are looking to identify the suspect in a bank robbery on Phenix Avenue Sunday afternoon. The incident happened at TD Bank a little after 2:45 p.m., when the bank was open for business.
Cranston Police Major Tod Patalano described the suspect as a five foot, eleven inch tall white man wearing khaki pants, a lime green construction jacket, black hat, construction glasses and black shoes. During the robbery, he passed a note to the teller claiming he was armed with a gun and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before running away.
No one was injured during the incident, which is still under investigation by Cranston police. Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity is encouraged to contact the department immediately.
