ACI Investigation Leads Task Force To Wanted Providence Man: Cops
The Providence man was a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts, police said.
CRANSTON, RI — A Providence man wanted in Massachusetts was apprehended, police said.
Jean Rodriguez, 32, was arrested Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Rodriguez was a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institutions Records and Identification Department and the ACI Investigations Unit," the release said.
Rodriguez was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he agreed to waive extradition proceedings back to the Massachusetts and was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff's Department, according to the release.
