Jonas and the former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo split recently after the relationship suffered due to their busy schedules.

Itโ€™s splitsville for Cranstonโ€™s Olivia Culpo โ€” the former Miss Universe โ€” and heartthrob musician Nick Jonas.

Jonas and Culpo have reportedly parted ways recently after their relationship suffered due to their busy schedules, according to multiple sources.

The couple met in 2013 backstage at the Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas.

Shortly afterwards, Jonas was seen regularly in Cranston as Culpo brought him to some of her favorite local spots, like Tโ€™s Restaurant on Park Avenue.

He also joined Culpo at Cranston City Hall for a ceremony dedicating a street in Culpoโ€™s name after she won the pageant. He snapped photos of his girlfriend and even brought her some clamcakes and chowder after she was lauded by a contingent of high-profile elected officials. He then posed for pictures with some local girls.

Culpo even was given a key to the city by Cranston Mayor Allan W. Fung in 2012 after she won the Miss USA pageant.

โ€œItโ€™s a special place where everyone is so closely connected and everyone knows everyone. To grow up in such a tightly knit community has made me who I am today. It is about the values instilled in me,โ€ she said at the time.

Us Weekly reported that the breakup might not last, though the two were in New York City last week and didnโ€™t spend any time together.

Just last week, Jonas said on โ€œGood Morning Americaโ€ that the relationship was โ€œtoughโ€ due to the long-distances involved but โ€œgood.โ€

โ€œWeโ€™re both busy and young and enjoying life,โ€ he said. โ€œItโ€™s going well. . .for right now, weโ€™re taking it one step at a time.โ€
