Cranston's Stephen Hardy Promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending at Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank (BCSB), headquartered in Taunton, Massachusetts, has promoted Stephen M. Hardy to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending. Hardy resides in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Hardy's new position as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending for the Rhode Island area entails developing new business while cross-selling BCSB’s other products and services and assisting in the management of the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio. He will continue to be based at the Bank’s full-service banking office at 215 Armistice Boulevard in Pawtucket. Before his most recent promotion, Hardy served as a Commercial Loan Officer, Commercial Lender and a Commercial Credit Analyst and Lending Trainee in the Bank’s Credit Department. Previously, he held the positions of Account Executive with the Costar Group in both Bethesda, Maryland and Boston, Massachusetts and Commercial Real Estate Broker for MG Commercial Real Estate in Providence, Rhode Island.

The professional organizations in which Hardy is currently involved include serving as a Board Member for the Pawtucket Business Development Corporation, a Co-Chair of the International Council of Shopping Center’s (ICSC) RI Next Generation Committee and as an active member of both the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in College Park.
