CVS Robbed at Knifepoint

Police are investigating another armed robbery — this time occurring Tuesday morning at the CVS at 681 Reservoir Ave.— and have released photos of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle.

Cranston Police are investigating the third robbery in less than a week, the latest occurring early Tuesday morning at the CVS/Pharmacy at 681 Reservoir Ave.

Police released pictures taken from the store showing a light skinned male of average height and thin build wearing black jeans, a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and some type of scarf covering his face.

Police said the suspect walked into the store at around 1:18 a.m. and apprached a female clerk who was kneeling in one of the aisles and brandished a knife. The suspect, in a deep voice, then said "get up."

The clerk then stood up and was led to the front of the store where she was ordered to remove money from the cash drawer.

The suspect took the money and then left the store,  driving off in a light colored four-door vehicle with a green license plate that police believe show an out-of-state registration.
