DUI More Than Double Legal Limit, Assaults: Cranston Police Arrest Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Sunday and Tuesday.
Sunday
2:32 a.m. —Michael Norigian, 47, of Cranston, was charged with violating a no-contact order.

5:48 p.m. — Alber Mota- Estrada, 38, of Cranston, was charged with domestic assault, domestic refusal to relinquish telephone and domestic disorderly conduct.
11:02 p.m. — Robert Smith, 59, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.

Monday
3:40 a.m. — Elizabeth Mendez Nava, 26, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic disorderly conduct.
2:48 p.m. — Robert Medeiros, 38, of Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs (first offense). Medeiros' blood-alcohol levels measured at 0.240 and 0,231, according to police. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service on Fort Avenue.
8:45 p.m. — Vanessa Viveiros, 35, of Cumberland, was charged with a warrant out of the Warwick Police Department. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service on Dyer Avenue.
8:45 p.m. — Dennis Cherry, 41, of Warwick, was charged with shoplifting on a Cranston police warrant. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service on Dyer Avenue.
Tuesday
5:22 p.m. — Joshua Chagnon, 34, of Cranston, was charged with driving after suspension of license (fourth offense). Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop on Plainfield Street.
6:25 p.m. — Alli Iannelli, 30, of Coventry, was charged with willful trespass, resisting legal or illegal arrest and disorderly conduct. Police said the arrest came after a well-being check in the 100th block of Southern Street.
6:30 p.m. — Vincent Durante Jr., 34, of Cranston, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and disorderly conduct.
