East Greenwich Art Club will be holding their next monthly meeting on Tuesday –October 7th at 7:00pm at our meeting place First Baptist Church, 30 Pierce Street, East Greenwich R.I. 02818.

Guest Artist: Simone Spruce-Torres

Simone received a Fine Arts Degree from The University of Findlay in Ohio. She is a contemporary artist who creates a variety of multicultural portraits and figures with acrylic paint and graphite pencil--her mediums of choice. Simone has been told that her work inspires, enlightens and encourages the viewer! Many of her images contain symbolism and a powerful sense of time and place to engage her audience. She is also an inspirational speaker and has a vast knowledge of today’s art world.

Her work has appeared in galleries, museums, and universities throughout the U.S. Her work is also in public and private collections. Simone is currently the Program Director of the Warwick Museum of Art and teaches at RISD.
