CRANSTON, RI — The votes have been counted in Rhode Island and results are pouring in for both state and local elections. Mail ballots and in-person, both early and from polling places on Election Day, have been tabulated at the local level, showing how residents voted both in the presidential and municipal races, as well as local ballot questions.

In both Cranston, voters overwhelmingly supported Biden, who won the town by a comfortable margin.

Barabara Fenton-Fung, wife of Mayor Allan Fung, unseated House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello in a District 15 upset, while Republican Kenneth Hopkins defeated Democrat Maria Bucci to become the city's next mayor.

In Cranston, emergency ballot had to be recounted due to an error and have not yet been reported on the state website.
