The East Greenwich Art Club will be holding their next monthly meeting
on May 3 at 7PM at our new meeting place First Baptist Church, 30
Pierce Street, East Greenwich R.I. 02818.
Our demonstrator will be Lavonne Suwalski who is an award winning
Copley watercolor artist whose work can be found in corporate and
private collections around the world. Lavonne has several art degrees
and has taught art to all levels and ages for over thirty years. The
Boston Globe has described her as "pouring passion into painting"!
Lavonne is currently teaching classes and workshops at the Rhode
Island Watercolor Society. Lavonne resides in Massachusetts and we are
pleased that she is excited to travel to East Greenwich for our

EAST GREENWICH ART CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
The East Greenwich Art Club will award a $1,000 scholarship to a
graduating senior from East Greenwich High School who is pursuing a
career in Fine Art or Art education. The deadline for application is
May 1, 2011. Application and guidelines are available on the East
Greenwich Art Club website www.eastgreenwichartclub.org and the
guidance department at East Greenwich High School. Additional
