Join the Rhode Island Swedish Heritage Association (RISHA) in ushering in the Christmas season with the beautiful Swedish tradition of Lucia. The annual festival of St. Lucia is a Sicilian tradition adopted by the Swedes, a celebration of lights at the darkest time of the year. In addition to the moving Lucia pageant, the program includes Swedish and English seasonal songs, instrumentalists from the Music School, followed by refreshments, dancing around the Christmas tree, the Jultomte (Swedish Santa Claus), and Swedish gift vendors. Don't miss out on the most beautiful of all the Swedish traditions. Adults: $10, children 5-14: $5, children under 5: free.
