An emotionally powerful and intimate story of two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years, the show's unconventional structure presents the story told in reverse by one character and chronologically by the other in interchanging monologues, with the lovers interacting just once as their stories overlap at their wedding.
