Fifteen RI women will appear in a production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" on V-Day 2011. Proceeds from V-Day events will benefit the RI Crisis Assistance Center, which works with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assualt. And this year, 10% of the proceeds from the play will be going to rebuild a women's shelter in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. There wil be a dessert buffet following the performance. There will be vendors at Rhodes from 9am-4pm prior to the show as part of V-Day's Red Tent event, and there is a $20 admission for all day access. There will be vendors such as masseuses, reflexology, and art. (The Red Tent event admission is separate from ticket sales to the play).
