General Mills Recalls Flour Products Sold In Rhode Island Grocery Stores
State health officials said the recall was issued for potential salmonella contamination.

RHODE ISLAND — General Mills has recalled two types of flour sold at grocery stores in Rhode Island, a RI Department of Health (RIDOH) spokesperson said Monday.
General Mills recalled two, five and 10-pound bags of its Gold Medal unbleached and bleached all purpose flour. State health officials said the recall was issued for the potential presence of salmonella infantis, which was discovered during sampling of the five-pound bag product.
These products had "better if used by" dates of March 27, 2024, and March 28, 2024.
