Goats Rescheduled For Sunday At New EGAPL Shelter
The East Greenwich Animal Protection League is hiring the Herd of Hope to gobble up the brush at their new home. Everyone's invited to watch

CRANSTON, RI —The herd from RI Goatscape is standing by to help the East Greenwich Animal Protection League spruce up its new digs. They were supposed to be in Cranston on Saturday, but the goat show was rained out. Now, the goats will be working (and munching the brush) on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone's invited to watch the action at 44 Worthington Road, Cranston.
Actually, almost everyone's invited. Sunday will be one of the rare times the doggies aren't welcome.
"We are asking for everyone to not bring their dogs to this event, because it's all about the goats," the staff said. But the dogs will have nice manicured grounds after the goats finish. Donations will be accepted to help pay for the new shelter.
