Grammy Winner Natalie MacMaster Coming to Park Theatre

Natalie MacMaster is one of the most dynamic performers in Celtic music and is bringing her music to the Park Theatre March 20. The night will open with a performance by Rhode Island's own Kelly School of Irish Dance.

Natalie MacMaster has played alongside Paul Simon and Pavarotti. She has been on stage at Carnegie Hall and Massey Hall. She is a two-time Grammy nominee and considered one of the best and most dynamic folk and Celtic musicians today.

And she is coming to Cranston March 20.

The Park Theatre announced MacMaster will be coming to the Park "for an unforgettable night of music" beginning with a performance by special guests from Rhode Island's own Kelly School of Irish Dance.

“We are honored that a superlative artist such as Natalie MacMaster is bringing her talents to the Park Theatre in Rhode Island,” said Piyush Patel, Owner of the Park Theatre. “This show is just one example of the high-quality performances we are attracting as we work to become one of the area’s premier performing arts centers.”

MacMaster's performances are  described as hypnotizing, uplifting, heart-rending and versatile. She fiddles, sings and step dances. Her three-decade career features multiple gold records and a Grammy for her contribution to Yo-Yo Ma's Songs of Joy and Peace.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 to $45 and are on sale at the Theatre's website at www.parktheatreri.com or at the box office which can be reached at 401-467-7275.
