Hit-And-Run Crash; DUI Charge After Crash: Cranston Police Arrest Log

CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between May 13 and May 15.
May 13
9:30 a.m. — Edward Irving, 55, of Cranston, was charged with a warrant out of the Providence Police Department.

10:34 a.m. — Kenneth Tyler, 34, of Providence, was charged with violating a no-contact order (third offense or greater). Police said the arrest came after a traffic stop on Church Street.
May 14

1:34 a.m. — Christopher Blair, 49, of Cranston, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in personal injury. Police said the arrest happened after a crash in the 30th block of Pontiac Avenue.
4:11 p.m. — Nathan Russo, 47, of Cranston, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct.
4:11 p.m. — Matthew Boylan, 38, of Cranston, was charged with domestic simple assault, domestic disorderly conduct, two Superior Court bench warrants and two Third District Court warrants.
May 15
11:28 a.m. — Matthew Reilly, 41, of Cranston, was charged with possession of crack cocaine. Police said the arrest came after an officer was flagged down for an emergency on Pontiac Avenue.
11:52 a.m. — Geury O’Neal, 25 of Cranston, was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty and a warrant from the Lincoln Police Department. Police said the arrest happened after a motor vehicle stop in the area of Gansett Ave and Doane Street.
12:25 p.m. — Charles Hopkins, 53, of Providence, was charged with DUI (blood alcohol level unknown). Police said the arrest happened after a crash on Phenix Avenue.
1:14 p.m. — Nicholas Arena, 29, of Cranston, was charged with a Cranston Municipal Court bench warrant after turning himself in.
6:44 p.m. — Gail Deaett, 43, of North Providence, was charged with shoplifting and warrants from Warwick police and Smithfield police.
