Juveniles Point Pellet Gun at Cranston Ambulance

At least one juvenile will be spending New Year’s Eve in the slammer after allegedly pointing a pellet gun at Cranston Rescue 4 in Warwick Wednesday night.

According to reports, two juveniles in a silver Ford Escape pulled up next to Rescue 4 and pointed the gun before driving off.

Rescue 4 was in Warwick near Routes 113 and Route 2 when the incident occurred.

Warwick and West Warwick police raced into action and at least one of the juveniles was taken into custody a short time later.

The Ford Escape was stopped in front of the West Valley Inn in West Warwick, according to reports.

The gun was reportedly a pellet gun, but first responders had no way of knowing if the gun was real or not.

Warwick Police confirmed that the gun was a pellet gun and juveniles were involved. No other details were immediately available.
