NY Woman Again Stopped With Stolen Goods On I-95
A New York woman was charged with possession of stolen goods just three weeks after being convicted of a similar charge from last year.

A New York woman was arrested on Thursday and charged with possession of stolen goods, less than three weeks after she was found guilty on similar charges from last year. In both cases, Karina Rojas, 33, of Corona, New York, was stopped on Interstate 95, where police uncovered thousands of dollars' worth of stolen goods.
Around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, Rhode Island State police pulled over Rojas on I-95 North in Exeter for speeding. During the traffic stop, troopers found a bag with Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Coach handbags and wallets, as well as dozens of boxes of Swarovski jewelry worth a total of $3,043. All of the items had been reported stolen from Clinton Crossing Outlets in Connecticut. Rojas was charged with possession of stolen goods and issued tickets for speeding and driving without a license.
During the arrest, Rojas told officers she was headed to court for a similar 2018 charge. Last May, Rojas was stopped by state troopers on I-95 South in Richmond and found to be in possession of more than $20,000 worth of designer clothing, jewelry, perfume and cosmetics stolen from stores in Massachusetts.
