Assunta (Gagliano) Lonardo, 99, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger Leonardo. Born in Santa Maria, Naples, Italy she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Gabriella (Gionotti) Gagliano.
She is survived by her loving sister Ida Micheletti and her husband Anthony of Cranston. Assunta was an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920.
