Charles Andoscia, 87, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
He was the beloved husband for 61 years of Barbara F. (Richards) Andoscia. Born in Providence, a son of the late Giovanni and Palma (Alberico) Conti, he resided in Warwick before moving to Cranston in 1983. Mr. Andoscia was the director of maintenance at RIPTA where he worked for 49 years. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was the father of Kenneth C. Andoscia, Robert J. Andoscia and the late Raymond Andoscia; brother of the late Anthony Antoscia and Amelia Iannitti. Also survived by 4 grandchildren.
His funeral service was held Friday, August 9. Burial with military honors was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
