Obituary: Maureen T. Salone, 82

Maureen (Streker) Salone, 82, of Cranston passed away February 13, 2015 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Ignazio E. “Eggy” Salone.

Born in Providence a daughter of the late Dr. Edward T. and Dolores (Clancy) Streker. Mrs Salone has lived in Cranston since 1960. Maureen enjoyed spending time with her loving children, grandchildren and sisters and brother. She also enjoyed the summer out door concerts. Maureen was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. She is survived by her beloved children Stephen R. Salone, David I. Salone, Andrew P. Salone and his wife Susan and Gregory E. Salone. Loving grandmother of Mary, Ellen, Daniel and Corry Salone. Beloved sister of John Streker, Dolores Streker, Jacquelyn Wayss, Barbra Campo, Elizabeth DiFrenna and Susan Mollicone.

Her funeral is Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from ‘’WOODLAWN’’ Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. VISITSTION MONDAY 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Mark’s Church Endowment Fund 9 Garden Ct. Cranston, R.I. 02920.
