Obituary: Scott B. Simmons, 31

Scott B. Simmons, 31, resident of Cranston, passed away June 12, 2013, unexpectedly at his residence. 

He was born in Providence, RI, son of Brad & Dianne (Lima) Simmons of Harrisville.

He worked for Family Services of RI. He was a graduate of Burrillville High School class of 2001, and then attended Endicott College in Beverly, MA, graduating in 2005. Scott enjoyed reading.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kara Henault and her husband Cole of Harrisville, RI, his nephew, Cole R. Henault Jr., maternal grandmother, Mary Lima of Harrisville, his paternal grandparents, Bud & Helen Simmons of Seekonk. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Anthony Lima.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Victory Hwy., Mapleville, RI. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be held Wednesday in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, from 4pm until 8pm.
