Obituary: Sylvia (Latina) Francesconi, 100

Sylvia (Latina) Francesconi, 100, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 26, 2013.  She was the wife of the late Foresto “Rudy” Francesconi.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Palma (DiSarro) Latina.

Sylvia is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was the sister of the late Eugene, John, Vincent, and Rita Latina and Yolanda Isabella.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 11 a.m.  Entombment will take place in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
