Vito Gesualdi, 83, of Cranston, died on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick.

Vito Gesualdi, 83, of Cranston, died on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna N. (Castelli) Gesualdi. He was born in Panni, Province of Foggia, Italy, a son of the late Angelo M. and Donata (Melino) Gesualdi.

He came to the U.S. in 1948 and settled in the Federal Hill section of Providence. He moved to Cranston in 1967. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Cranston. Vito had been a co-owner with his brothers of Continental Pools. Vito enjoyed his family, bowling, fishing, gardening, and winemaking.

He leaves two daughters, Donna Landry and her husband Rev. Hayward Landry of Rogers, CT, Maria Negovetti and her husband Antonio Negovetti of Cranston, and son Nick V. Gesualdi of Cranston; 3 cherished grandchildren Antonio V. and Piero Negovetti and Rebekah Young; 3 great grandchildren Micah, Darius, Gideon Young and his dear brother Nicholas Gesualdi of Lincoln. He was the brother of the late Angelina DeStefano, Maria Moreno, and Antonio Gesualdi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Wednesday morning from 9 - 10 a.m.
