The pop star and former American Idol judge was spotted shopping and dining in Garden City Center.
Cranston is no stranger to fame, so locals might be underwhelmed by news that pop star Paula Abdul was spotted in recently.
The former American Idol judge was accompanied by bodyguards as she shopped and enjoyed some frozen yogurt. The bodyguards reportedly thwarted attempts by fans to take pictures and get autographs.
The shopping center posted a grainy image of the star at Pinkberry on its Facebook page.

Abdul was also reportedly spotted having a meal with David Caprio, son of Judge Frank Caprio and former District 34 representative, at Papa Razzi last week, according to posts on the shopping center's Facebook page.
