Cranston City Council to vote on widespread ordinance changes for the heart of Cranston
The full Cranston City Council will vote at 7pm tonight for ordinance changes that will allow for things such as condos, drive-throughs, electronic signage and 100 foot buildings in the beautiful, successful, boutique of Garden City Shopping Center.
Coming at the top of unbridled - and unplanned for - commercial development in Cranston's immediate location to Garden City - Sockanosset Crossroad - Pontiac Ave - behind Shaws - involving the Carpionato Corporation, as well, many believe this is the time to pause - and plan - for the future commercialization - and traffice patterns and safety of this part of Cranston.
