Rhode Island Youth Theatre presents Disney's The Little Mermaid
Playing August 3rd & 4th at the RI Center for the Arts (Park Theatre) in Cranston
Take yourself “under the sea” with Rhode Island Youth Theatre’s performance of Disney’s classic story, The Little Mermaid! Join an adventurous young mermaid named Ariel (Melissa Hayes) as she falls in love with Prince Eric (Grant Whitney) and defies her strict father King Triton (Julian Cavanagh) to become human. Aided by her friends Flounder (Reid Taylor) and Scuttle (Sarah Brusini), Ariel trades her voice to the evil sea witch Ursula (Emma Schwab) for a pair of legs and embarks on a journey filled with friendship, love, laughter, and plenty of songs and dances fit for the whole family! Led by Brooke Fennell, Brian Roque, Nancy Hillner, and Abby McMahon, over 70 children and teen performers worked tirelessly to put together this performance of The Little Mermaid and make you “part of our world” with this full show. With stunning visuals, show-stopping numbers, a live orchestra, and a beloved story, RIYT’s The Little Mermaid is a show you won’t want to miss! This show is being performed at the Park Theater in Cranston on Friday, August 3rd, at 10 am and 7 pm, and Saturday, August 4th at 7 pm. Tickets are $18 at the door or at http://riyt.org/whats-new/now-...
