RI Heath Officials: E. Coli Advisory For Ground Beef From HelloFresh
If you have certain ground beef products in your freezer from HelloFresh, you should throw them out to avoid E. coli.
RHODE ISLAND — The Rhode Island Department of Health issued an advisory urging the public to be aware of ground beef products in HelloFresh meal kits potentially being a source of E. coli.
Health officials said the meal kits containing ground beef for this public health alert were shipped to consumers between July 2 and 21.
The ground beef products came in 10-oz. plastic vacuum-packed packages with the label "GROUND BEEF 85% LEAN/15% FAT" and codes "EST#46481 L1 22 155" or "EST#46481 L5 22 155" on the side of the packaging. An image of the product label is available here.
