RI Town-By-Town Coronavirus Cases: Rural Areas Remain Low

Updated date from the Rhode Island Department of Health shows the majority of cases continue to be in densely populated areas.

RHODE ISLAND — The latest town-by-town coronavirus case numbers from the Rhode Island Department of Rhode Island show that most confirmed cases continue to be in densely populated areas, while rural parts of the state have lower numbers.

The numbers are the first town-by-town breakdown in a week. A spokesperson for the department said the transition to a new database system made it difficult to report the numbers each day. Daily updates are expected to continue after Monday.
