All Rhode Island Public Transit Authority buses will run on a Sunday/Holiday schedule this Thanksgiving, so plan ahead if you plan to use public transportation on Thursday. Regular service will resume on Friday.

On the holiday, all RIPTA offices and ticket windows will be closed, including the photo ID and ticket sales offices at Kennedy Plaza. Offices will reopen at 7 a.m. on Friday.

Buses will run less frequently on a Sunday/Holiday schedule, so check your route before heading out. All schedules are available on the department's website.
