Rockland Trust Appoints Susan Dewsnap to the Investment Management Group

PROVIDENCE, RI (March 11, 2015)Rockland Trust announced that Susan Dewsnap has joined its Investment Management Group as Vice President and Relationship Manager. A Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, Susan has more than 20 years of experience in wealth and financial management. Headquartered in Providence, she will serve clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

“We’re excited to expand our depth of talent and customer service by welcoming Susan to the team,” said Wendy Barker, Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Rockland Trust. “Her extensive experience and expertise will be an asset to customers seeking investment management guidance and advice.”

Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Susan was as Senior Vice President for Wealth Management Resources, Inc. for six years. She also founded Equitable Divorce Solutions LLC, which was dedicated to assisting divorcing couples in Rhode Island and Massachusetts with the financial aspects of their divorce settlements. Previously she served as Manager of Financial Planning at Hasbro Inc., Senior Finance Manager at Polaroid, and held financial management roles at Revlon, Turner Broadcasting, Estee Lauder, and Gillette.

Susan holds an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham, MA and a BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Bryant University in Rhode Island. She lives in Franklin with her husband and children.
