CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between Friday and Saturday.

Friday

11:46 p.m. — Alex Yanes, 27, of Providence, was charged with driving under the influence (first offense). Police said Yanes blood alcohol level was 0.193. According to police, the arrest stemmed from a self-initiated motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Park Avenue and Park View Boulevard.

3:31 p.m. — Naomi Little, 34, was charged with driving with a suspended license (fourth offense or greater). Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Garfield Avenue.

6:39 p.m. — Eric Martin, 45, was charged with possession of ecstasy. Police said the arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop at Broad Street and Grand Avenue.

2:30 p.m. — Wesli Escanao Arais, 19, was charged with a warrant out of the Providence Police Department for second-degree sexual assault.

12:02 p.m. — Uriah Zoegar, 24, of Providence was charged with driving with a suspended license (fourth offense or greater). Police said the arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop.

3:35 a.m. — Ceasar Garcia Rodriguez, 24, of Providence was charged with driving under the influence (first offense) with a blood alcohol level unknown (pending toxic screening). Police said the arrest stemmed from a crash in the 300th block of Princess Avenue.

Saturday

10:16 p.m. — Michael Norigan, 47, of Cranston, was charged with two counts of domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism, domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone and domestic disorderly conduct.

2:15 p.m. — Austin Sok, 27, of Providence, wad charged with shoplifting from Bob's Store on 1400 Oaklawn Ave.
