St. David's Preschool to Host Open House on Aug. 6

CRANSTON – St. David’s Preschool, a non-denominational early childhood center located at St. David’s on-the-Hill Episcopal Church, 200 Meshanticut Valley Parkway, will host an Open House and Registration on Aug. 6, 2016, from 9 a.m. to noon for parents of children from 3 to 5 years of age.

“This year marks more than 40 years of providing quality preschool education to local children, and we’re excited to open our doors to new families,” explained Marie Birch, Executive Director at St. David’s. “We are also in the midst of remodeling our facilities so that we can continue to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. Our classrooms are playful, friendly, and designed appropriately for young children's interests.”

Visitors to the Open House will be able to tour the preschool, meet its fully certified staff, and learn more about the curriculum, which aligns with Rhode Island Early Learning Standards.

“We are proud to be part of the BrightStars Quality Care System, which helps preschool programs maintain a high quality of care and instruction,” Birch said. “It’s a rigorous and ongoing review process that ensures we are maintaining the highest standards of program quality and environment, thus providing every opportunity for our children to learn, all while making it affordable for families.”

St. David’s Preschool is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the school year, with a half-day program running from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
