Third Consecutive Record-Breaking Day For Coronavirus Cases In RI
This is the second time Rhode Island has reported more than 900 new coronavirus cases in a day.

PROVIDENCE, RI โ For the third day in a row, Rhode Island broke its single-day record for new coronavirus cases, reporting 936 on Thursday.
The second wave of the virus continues to worsen in Rhode Island as November drags on, with both cases per 100,000 people and new hospital admissions out of safe ranges as defined by the state. The third weekly trend, the percent positive test rate, continues to climb as well, inching closer to 5 percent and frequently exceeding that threshold day-to-day.
Thursday marked another milestone for the state, which surpassed 40,000 cases since the start of the pandemic.
