Wednesday's Garden City Center Concert Bumped to Thursday
There's some rain in the forecast. Thursday night looks utterly perfect, though, so consider it a blessing.

The popular Garden City Center Summer Concert Series runs on Wednesday evenings, normally.
This week, with heavy rain and possible flooding in the forecast, organizers have cancelled Wednesday night’s performance, rescheduling it for Thursday.
So mark your calendars for July 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. for music and family-friendly frolicking in one of Rhode Island’s most popular destination shopping centers.

It’s actually the 26th year summer concerts have graced the grounds of the busy shopping center. It’s popular with families and folks looking to enjoy a summer evening and maybe do some shopping or dine in -- or out.
This year a wide variety of performers are lined up. There will be prizes donated by Garden City stores. And once again, there will be peanut butter and tuna fish collections to support the Rhode Island Community Food Bank

Dan Moretti & the Hammond Boys with Christine Fawson (R&B, Jazz), where scheduled to play Wednesday night.

July 22: Tat Holler (Country Music)
July 29: Nancy Paolino & the Black Tie Band (Top 40 Pop Music)
Aug. 5: The Barons (Oldies, 50’s and 60’s Music)
Aug. 12: Red Hot Horns 9 pc (R&B, Dance Tunes)
Aug. 19: Timmy Maia Band (NYC High Energy Contemporary)
