Where are they now?

In 2010, 12 year old Cranston resident Jessica Anderson was one of 10,000 kids nationwide to be selected to appear on Kids Jeopardy!

In 2010, after watching Jeopardy! for years, 12 year old homeschooled student Jessica Anderson decided to take the show's online test in hopes of appearing on the program. Several months later, she was invited to audition for the show and was subsequently chosen by producers to compete on Kids Week, where she placed second.

The following year, she won the RI State Spelling Bee and won a trip to Washington, DC to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. In her junior year of homeschool, she decided to attend CCRI and take part in their Running Start Program. Currently, the 18 year old is a student at Rhode Island College majoring in Biology, and has earned a summer internship working with her professor and other students in one of the colleges research labs. She hopes to complete her baccalaureate education at RI College and then continue to Boston University to major in Forensic Science.
