• Upcoming Registration Deadline for November 3 General Election (newportthisweek.com) — Cumberland voters have until Sunday, October 4, to register for the November 3 statewide election, with paper registration forms accepted at the Cumberland Police Department from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. That same deadline and a full list of drop-off sites apply statewide, and residents can also register or request mail ballots online through vote.ri.gov before mid-October cutoffs.
