23 EG Businesses Get R.I. Monthly's 'Best Of' Label
In the readers' poll, East Greenwich got 22 out of 28 picks for "West Bay."

East Greenwich businesses did well in the recent "Best of Rhode Island 2013" rankings published by Rhode Island Monthly last week, particularly in the Readers' Poll results.Â
There are two Rhode Island Monthly "Best of" lists: The editors' picks are an esoteric collection of businesses, events and places that strike their fancy in a given year. For instance, this year, among their categories was "Family Tea Time" and "Drag Karaoke" (the winners of those categories were in Newport and Providence, respectively).Â
The other list is the Readers' Poll, a more straightforward "best of" list, broken down in both statewide and regional winners.
In the more rarified editors' picks, two of the winners can be found on Main Street in EG: Silver Spoon Bakery (for cupcakes, of course!) and Kristina Richards (for women's fashions). Brava, Kelly and Kristina!
If the magazine was a bit stingy toward EGÂ on editors' picks side, however, Readers' Poll results more than made up for it.
Here are the statewide and regional EG winners. Congratulations all!
