The Armory's Guns and Beer Fundraiser. Appropriate???

I know guns have historical meaning and importance in that there are some just wars. But to have a huge banner in the center of town, advertising Guns and Beer, is inappropriate given the current mass killing climate in our country, not to mention that we lead the Western world in gun related deaths. Also, do we really want to be advertising 'guns and beer' to our children in this town? I think "Beer with a Taste of History" would be a better choice for this fundraiser.
