What is Junior Providence Singers?
Junior Providence Singers (JPS) is a 10-week choral
training and performance program produced by the
Providence Singers, providing outstanding musical
experiences for high school singers of southern New
England.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 6:15-9:00pm, September
through November at the Carter Center for Music
Education in East Providence.

What are the requirements to sing with Junior Providence Singers?

Sing Star Spangled Banner a cappella. Girls in the key of Ab (starting noteEb) or higher. Boys in any key.
Sing no more than two pages of a folk song or classical piece,acappella.
Simple sight-reading and ability to hear parts and retain given melodies.
