Auditions for RI Children's Chorus

Sing with us! RI Children's Chorus (grades 2-12 - four levels; especially seeking tenors and basses who love to sing.

Join us for our January auditions to participate in the award-winning Rhode Island Children’s Chorus! Especially seeking tenors and basses for our High School Honor Choir. Our next semester begins in January 2017.

Thursday, January 5, 2017 (5:30-7:00pm) - St. Luke's Episcopal Church; 99 Pierce St., East Greenwich

Saturday, January 7, 2017 (10:30am-12:00pm) - RI Philharmonic Music School, Carter Center; 667 Waterman Ave., East Providence

Boys and girls ages 7-17 (four levels) are invited to meet with Director Dr. Christine Noel for a brief interview and vocal evaluation. No prior experience or appointment is needed. Auditions are private and take about 4-5 minutes. Students may audition at either location, but please specify your preferred rehearsal location (East Providence or East Greenwich). Note that the High School Honor Choir meets only in East Providence.

Past performance highlights: appearance in film “Moonrise Kingdom;” performance with Grammy award-winner, Colbie Caillat; several collaborations with RI Philharmonic Orchestra; performances for the American Choral Directors’ Association; singing National Anthem for the Harlem Globetrotters and the Providence Bruins; and much more.
