Avenger Madness Fundraiser Monday will Benefit EGHS Basketball Team

The East Greenwich High School boys basketball team is hosting a fundraiser on Monday, Dec. 22 to help the team with trip and uniform costs.

It’s ”Avenger Madness” and for $5, you can come watch an EGBA youth game followed by a Cole Middle School vs. EGHS JV, said Patrick Norton, a senior at East Greenwich High School and a team captain. That action starts at 5:45 p.m.

The main event pits the high school varsity team against an alumni squad.

“This money helps our programs a lot,” Norton said. “We have been able to compete in summer leagues and take a team summer trip with this money. As well as buy beautiful warm ups and uniforms.”
