Acclaimed Writer Visits East Greenwich Thursday for Signing, Reading

Acclaimed author Stewart OβNan is in town and heβll be at Symposium Books on Thursday night for a book signing and reading from his latest novel, βWest of Sunset.β
OβNan, an award-winning writer, is widely known for the novel βWish You Were Hereβ and has also penned βSnow Angles,β βA Prayer for the Dying,β βLast Night at the Lobster,β and βEmily, Alone.β
A Pittsburgh, PA, resident, OβNan has been named one of Americaβs Best Young Novelists by Granta.

βWest of Sunsetβ was published earlier this year and met with immediate approval from critics.
Itβs a story about F. Scott Fitzgeraldβs waning years in Hollywood and a touching and βdeeply personal portrait of a flawed man who never gave up in the end, even as his every wish and hope seemed thwarted,β according to the bookβs summary.
