Bad Dog? Get your Pooch Blessed this Saturday at St. Luke's
The annual Blessing of the Animals at St. Luke's Episcopal Church is this Saturday.

Our pets are loyal companions, but let’s face it, they’re not perfect.
Much like people, animals that we take in can have a transgression here or there. Or on the Persian rug.
We can go to confession, but what about your pooch?

According to a post on our bulletin board, “There will be a half hour of musical offerings ranging from the middle ages to present day, in which animals (and their sounds!) are heard and honored, just as we are honoring our pets. This will take place rain or shine—if the weather is nice we will gather in the garden, if not, we will be in the downstairs dining room. Come for the music. Bring your pets for a blessing. Invite your friends and neighbors—all are welcome! There will also be a free will offering for the East Greenwich Animal Protection League’s new home.”
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is located at 99 Peirce St.
