Ballroom Dance Studio from Little Rhody shows Big Team Spirit!

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Warwick brings home a Top Spirit Banner from Regional Competition

Last weekend in Greenwich Connecticut, there was dancing and rhinestones, competition and suspense. The 50th Colonial Classics, a ballroom dance competition hosted by the Fred Astaire Dance Studios of New England, took place at the Hyatt Regency.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios from all over New England and even the rest of the country came out to participate in this yearly happening. And of course the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Warwick, Rhode Island went to represent as well. Participating in Amateur, Pro-Am and Professional divisions, the dance team from Warwick was on it’s feet around the clock.

Aside from wonderful dancing the Warwick Studio was recognized for showing the most Team Spirit of all the Studios participating. Once again, the Fred Astaire Studio of Warwick took home the “Team Spirit” Banner, for the second competition in a row.
