Bliss Journey guides Girl Scouts to give back!

East Greenwich Girl Scouts fill the wish list of local teacher.

Ambassador Scouts from East Greenwich troops 594 & 264 just completed their Bliss
Journey! Their take action project was to full fill the wish list of
Jen Foisey, the lead teacher of the Life Skills class at Eldredge
Elementary School in East Greenwich. Along with their regular
educational needs, the life skills classroom teaches basic life skills
to developmentally delayed students. These skills range from tying
shoes to spreading butter (or chocolate frosting)on toast, and from
cutting up food with a knife, baking cookies and drinking out of a cup,
Jen's wish list included supplies that the teachers usually purchase
themselves like paper napkins and plates, arts and craft supplies, baby
wipes, disinfecting wipes, paper towels and much more... The girls held a
bake sale and a Saver's clothing drive to fund their take action
project.
