Christopher Fascione Installed as 2018 KWAOR President

Christopher Fascione of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Gammons Realty has been installed as 2018 President of the Kent Washington Association of REALTORS® (KWAOR) at the Association's Annual Meeting, Installation and Dinner. The event was held at the Preserve at Boulder Hills in Richmond on October 12th.

Chris has been a Kent Washington member since 1993 and is serving his second term as the Association’s President. He has also served its members in many other capacities: as Vice President, President-Elect and on the Executive, Nominating, Finance, Personnel and Programs Committees.

2018 Officers and Directors also installed were Immediate Past President Patricia Lenihan, President-Elect Mark McHugh, Treasurer Mary Coutu, Directors Marisa Almon, Robert Cressman, Thomas Clarkin, Gregory Eccleston, Alyce Kleczek, Michael Mita, Cecelia O'Brien, and Bruce Thunberg, as well as new Directors Jason Ferri, Betsy Alexander, Pamela Hanson-Carbone, and William Fain. NAR Regional Vice President Jamie Moore served as Installing Officer.

Outgoing Director Linda Plouffe of Aquarius Real Estate was recognized for her service to the Association.

Peter Izzi of HomeSmart Professionals Real Estate was recognized as KWAOR 2017 REALTOR® of the Year. Ashley LaFerriere of Equity National Title was the recipient of the Business Partner/Affiliate of the Year Award, given for outstanding service to KWAOR and its members.

Thomas Clarkin of RE/MAX Central and Nancy Crawley of Albert REALTORS® were awarded Life Membership in the Kent Washington Association for 30 years of continuous membership and service to the Association as an Officer or Director.

Donald Morash, Broker for Abbott Properties was honored as a NAR Emeritus member for 40 years of membership in the National Association of REALTORS® and service to the local, state or national REALTOR® Association.
