Cream Cheese Incident At East Greenwich Dunkin' Leads To Disagreement: Cops
A customer was upset about an "upcharge for cream cheese," police said.
EAST GREENWICH, RI β A dispute over the cost of cream cheese led an East Greenwich Dunkin' Donuts customer to throw a bagel, police said.
The 29-year-old woman claimed "she did not intentionally aim (the bagel) at anyone present" in the 720 Main St. Dunkin', according to an East Greenwich Police Department report.

The woman also told an officer she "became upset with staff after they reported to staff there was no cream cheese on their bagel as requested, and did not feel they should be charged additional money for adding it," the report said.

The staff the woman had become upset with called the law shortly before noon Friday to report the dispute with the customer, according to the report.
The dispute "stemmed from an upcharge for cream cheese," the report said.

The woman was "upset with the extra charge from cream cheese and yelled at the staff on scene in disagreement, also throwing her sandwich behind the counter," the report said.

A man accompanying the upset woman was "also argumentative with staff on scene about the situation," according to the report.
